Waking up

It's been a couple of years since posting and events have been racing past. The era of HopenChange has come to America. And our President is bullsh*t artist-in-chief. Billions of dollars are disappearing and big government claws for more. It's revolting. (That word selection has same root as revolution, though I would not advocate anything beyond a Constitutional Convention at this point.)

Extreme Hiking

The trailhead nearest to my home presents a 5,600 foot elevation rise over 12.5 miles (25 miles round trip). Is this a great training hike or a death march? It hasn't killed me yet.
